Position Details

What You Will Do

Reporting to the Partner Relationship Manager, Partner Relationship Specialist will drive the following:

  • Responsible for day to day operational tasks and communication with partners and vendors in a timely, efficient & professional manner that always represents core Orion & CCG Values

  • Handle queries that come from internal and external stakeholders including club partners, EB partners or vendors whose relationship is managed by Partner Relationship Department

  • Issues raised by partners including system escalations, policy interpretation, complaints, exception requests, compliance reviews to be assessed, coordinate with relevant internal departments as needed and provide adequate & professional responses

  • Coordinate Change Requests with relevant stakeholders including gathering & formally documenting business requirements and communicating updates as required

  • Make Periodic visits to Partner clubs & frontline agents as per yearly schedule with a view to engage with the teams to gain understanding & feedback re. pain points, areas where Orion can better support, increase efficiencies etc.

  • Conduct agent awareness sessions, develop content and presentations

  • Attend Trade shows; Consumer Events & represent Orion in a professional & knowledgeable manner

  • Run monthly reports & distribute to all partners in a timely manner

 

What You Have

  • 3-5 years experience in Marketing or Insurance related role is required 

  • Post-secondary education completion, preferably a University degree in the field of Business, Marketing, Economics or related field with relevant work experience 

  • Certification in Insurance/Marketing/Sales is preferred 

  • Bilingual in both English and French languages (written and verbal) is a nice to have asset 

  • MS Office product knowledge is required 

  • Self motivated, proactive with highly developed communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with management, internal customers and external vendors in both verbal and written formats

  • Excellent problem solver, detail oriented, ability to work under pressure, work in a team environment as well as work independently 

  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills
