Two U.S. Senators Want To Let Canadian Snowbirds Stay South For Longer. Here’s How Their Proposed Law Would Work

An estimated one million Canadian snowbirds spend between three and six months of each year in the US. Florida senators Marco Rubio and Rick Scott have reintroduced federal legislation that would allow them to stay in the U.S. an extra two months, up to eight from the six months currently allowed by US immigration policy.
